If you’re looking for a cool place to escape the muggy El Paso Monsoon temperatures, consider taking in a movie at the International Museum of Art. Not only is it free to see, admission to the museum is free as well.

Hosted by life long film fan, historian and collector Jay Duncan in association with Sunset Film Society, all movies are carefully curated family favorites and timeless classics screened in the beautiful 168 seat auditorium inside the historic Henry Trost building the International Museum of Art calls home.

Because Jay is a classic films buff and in order to encourage fellow movie mavens to support and attend the Plaza Classic Film Festival, there will not be any film presentations the first two weeks of the month.

Showtime is approximately 2:00 p.m. Theater popcorn, drinks, candy and snacks will be available for purchase. The International Museum of Art is located at 1211 Montana in the Turney Mansion.
