With confirmed cases of COVID-19 now in the double digits in El Paso, and seniors being the most vulnerable to the virus, it’s more important than ever for our community’s elderly population to hunker down and avoid crowds.

But they have to eat, too. To that aim, several grocery stores around the city have reserved early morning time-slots for them to shop.

Below is the list provided by the City of El Paso of supermarkets and grocery stores where elderly, at-risk El Pasoans can stock up on supplies during the coronavirus pandemic while limiting their exposure to larger crowds.

Provided, of course, that the selfish masses who continue to panic-buy start showing some compassion for others.
