Fourth of July Parades Around El Paso
If you’re looking to celebrate the Fourth of July with a good old-fashioned parade of beauty queens, decorated cars, and people decked out in patriotic gear a couple of local service organizations have you covered on both ends of the city.
● 39th Annual Fourth of July People’s Parade – The yearly Eastside community parade travels down Montwood and Yarbrough from its starting point of Hanks High School, then north to Album Avenue, where it ends at Eastwood (Album) Park. Sponsored by the El Paso del Norte Lions Club, "The People's Parade" begins at 9 a.m. [Map of Route]
● The 22nd Annual Independence Day Parade - the Rotary Club of West El Paso plays host to the patriotic procession. Parade participants will roll out from the Western Hills Methodist Church parking lot at 530 Thunderbird, turning left at Shadow Mountain before turning right onto Mesa to its conclusion at Coronado High School. The parade begins at 9 a.m. [Map of Route]
● The 21st annual Rim Area Neighborhood Parade – Any and every one who wants to be a part of this patriotic parade put on by residents of the Rim Area Neighborhood can do so. Decorate your car, your bike, your little red wagon, your pets, yourself and join the parade. Or simply wave your American flag and cheer from the curb. The parade, which starts at 9:45 a.m. at the intersection of Kerbey Avenue and Rim Road, will be followed by popsicles and festivities at Tom Lea Upper Park. [Map of Route]
● Town of Anthony Fourth of July Parade - Small town parade, big time patriotism. 10 a.m. start time from the Sonic on Anthony Drive. Ends at Anthony Triangle Park. [More Info]
