Here Are the El Paso County Sites for Free COVID-19 Testing in August
The County Judge's Office has been working with several entities including the Texas Division of Emergency Management to increase availability and accessibility to no-cost COVID-19 testing throughout El Paso County.
To that end, officials have released a new list of locations and dates. The sites, posted below, will be open to the public through the end of August.
The Drive-thru testing locations will be operational from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and available to people with or without symptoms on a first come, first serve basis. No appointment necessary.
For those who may not have a vehicle but for who mass transit is an option, a walk up hybrid site has been set up at the Nations Tobin Recreation Center through August 29.
Like the rural county sites, it's open from 9 a.m to 4 p.m., it’s free and available to anyone, with or without coronavirus symptoms. The one difference is the Tobins location has a daily limit of 500 tests.
