El Paso County Courthouse, Facilities Close to Slow Coronavirus Spread

El Paso County Judge Ricardo Samaniego has temporarily closed the courthouse and all county facilities in response to the coronavirus crisis and health official’s warnings.

Samaniego released the following statement Sunday, March 22:

To ensure the health and safety of El Paso County employees and the public from the spread of COVID-19, the County Courthouse and all County buildings and facilities will be closed to the public...until further notice.

The message goes on to say that protecting the health of the community is of utmost concern, and despite the closures essential services will continue.

Samaniego encourages anyone "with...issues or concerns relating to business with the County" to contact them via the county website or by phone at 915-546-2000.
