Downtown El Paso Farmers Market Returns This Weekend
The Christmas season is over. You have probably already taken down your tree and lights, put away all the presents, maybe even spent the Starbucks gift card you got in your stocking. If you're thinking all the fun is over for the year, think again. The downtown El Paso Artists and Farmers Market is back!
The Farmers Market happens every Saturday in the Union Plaza on Anthony Street. There are vendors, musicians, delicious food, and because the Heat Miser is apparently in control this winter, fantastic weather to be enjoyed. If you've never been to the Farmers Market in Union Plaza, you are really missing out. In addition to the handmade soaps, there are artists who sell one-of-a-kind paintings, sculptures, and even puzzles for the kiddos. Darren and I found a man who makes interactive wooden puzzles of animals by hand. They are toys, yes, but they really are works of art.
And the food!
Go hungry because there is fresh produce, food trucks with amazing nibbles, and even homemade baked goods that you can eat there or enjoy at home later. The Farmers Market is a great place to go and hang out, so check it out this weekend.
