A herd of deer has ruined Christmas for a farm in Iowa by eating almost its entire crop of Christmas trees. The Grinch has nothing on these animals.

After the Pine Acres Christmas Tree Farm closed at the end of last season, deer moved in and ate between 10,000-12,000 Christmas trees across eight acres, causing as much as $80,000 worth of damage, according to farm owner Jan Pacvosky.

It could take at least five years to re-grow the crop eaten by the Christmas-stealing herd of deer.
