There's a new Community Closet, run by the Kelly Center for Hunger Relief. To help fill the closet, the Kelly Center is reaching out to the community to donate what they can to help families in need.

Kelly created the new Fresh Start program to help those families who are having a hard time making ends meet and have no disposable income to buy the bare necessities such as shoes and clothing.

According to the Kelly Center, Clothing insecurity, or the lack of sufficient, clean, seasonal, and size-appropriate apparel, is a much more serious problem than many people understand. If an individual or a family can't pay the rent or afford to put food on the table, basics like jackets, socks, and shoes become luxuries.

Currently, the community closet needs everyday and professional clothing for men's and women's and children's clothing. They are also looking for small household appliances and household items. Plus, they also need clothing racks and shoe racks for display purposes.
