Know Someone Who Might Need Some Christmas Cheer? Submit Them For A Mike & Tricia Christmas Act of Kindness!

If you know of a friend, co-worker, neighbor or acquaintance that will be facing a difficult time this Christmas and needs financial assistance, reach out to us and together we can try to help them out.  Our hope is to assist and serve those in need by creating uplifting experiences for families facing difficult life challenges. Maybe your neighbor has been hit hard by the economy and won’t be able to afford toys for his or her children.  Or a co-worker needs to get her car fixed so she can get to work and it’s either her job or toys for her children. Or a friend can’t afford a plane ride home for the holidays to get that special hug from mom or dad.

Mike and Tricia want to help someone through A Christmas Act of Kindness. But we can’t do this without your help! So help us reach out to those around us who could benefit from your love and kindness. Fill out the form below and tell us why you think they deserve a Mike and Tricia Christmas Act of Kindness. BUT BEFORE YOU SUBMIT, PLEASE READ THE RULES BELOW AND MAKE SURE YOUR SUBMISSION IS WHAT WE HAVE IN MIND.

RULES ON SUBMITTING YOUR ACT OF KINDNESS:

• You CANNOT send a letter on behalf of yourself or anyone in your household
• Recipient must live in the El Paso Metro Area
• The possible recipient CANNOT know the letter has been written on their behalf.
• If selected, YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE IN-STUDIO TO READ THE LETTER YOU SUBMITTED on air
• Only submit your letter one time, it will be read and considered.

HOW AN ACT OF KINDNESS IS CHOSEN AND GRANTED

Listeners are asked to submit a letter via website or mail nominating a friend, co-worker, or acquaintance they know or know of who could use a helping hand. Once a letter is selected by committee, the letter writer is invited to join Mike and Tricia on air for a radio segment to surprise the selected person. The person selected to receive A Christmas Act of Kindness will be called on-air and their story read by the person who nominated them. If selected, you are required to be in-studio on the day the Christmas Act has been chosen to be awarded. If you are unable to meet this requirement, another letter will be chosen.

Deadline for Kindness receipt via email is 11pm MST Sunday, December 9, 2012. Letters sent via U.S. mail must be postmarked by midnight Friday, December 7, 2012. Letters dropped off in person at KSII, located at 4180 N. Mesa, must be hand delivered by 5pm MST Friday, December 7, 2012. Valid entries must contain ALL information requested (See internet submission form). Incomplete, inaccurate and / or multiple entries, and letters sent on behalf of yourself or anyone in your household will not be considered. All letters received will be read and reviewed by Mike and or Tricia or a member of the KSII staff. Entries will be selected based upon authenticity (50%) and compelling story (50%). Upon selection, a member of the morning show will contact the individual who submitted the letter and the person whom the letter was written on behalf of.  ALL ENTRIES SELECTED WILL BE AT THE SOLE DISCRETION OF THE KSII and MORNING STAFF
