Join Chico The Chihuahua this summer for his reading tour across all El Paso Public Libraries.

Have fun this summer when you join Chico El Paso’s favorite Chihuahua, during his reading program tour which is free and open to all.

Chico is on a mission this summer to encourage kids and adults in our community to read all year long. The free summer reading tour will hit up different El Paso Library locations across the city. Kids and families can enjoy not just the reading event portion but will also find lots of activities for the kids, including face painting with the Chicas, games, prizes, special guests and so much more.

  • June 11 – Richard Burges Library at 1:30 p.m.
  • June 12 – Clardy Fox Library at 2 p.m.
  • June 15 – Judge Marquez Library at 11 a.m.
  • June 18 – Esperanza Moreno Library at 3 p.m.
  • June 19 – Sergio Troncoso Library at 11 a.m.
  • July 3 – Dorris Van Doren Library at 11 a.m.
  • July 17 – Main Library Downtown at 10:30 a.m.
