Check Out ‘Love Story’ On The Big Screen With Your Favorite Valentine
Valentine's Day is right around the corner and if you want to check out a classic love story that will make you cry your eyes out, you have got to see Love Story.
Love Story is the story of Oliver, the son of an insanely wealthy family, and Jenny, the daughter of a not insanely wealthy widowed father who is a baker. They meet while he is attending Harvard and she is attending Radcliffe. Their relationship is fiery and tumultuous because she won't accept that he is doing what his family intends for him to do, which is go to law school, and he can't understand why she can't understand why the weight of family tradition is something he doesn't feel like he can escape. They get married and are living the kind of life they want to when Jenny falls ill with a terminal disease. The movie is such a great love story, but it is also such a slice of life from 1970 when women were becoming more and more liberated but trying to do so in man's world that isn't ready to let them in.
