A national sandwich shop chain known for its award-winning, hand-crafted sandwiches, is expanding to El Paso.

Capriotti’s is the latest restaurant to announce a location on the westside in the UTEP area. The Las Vegas based franchise is known for its cheesesteak sandwiches and The Bobbie sub, the shop’s fan favorite, made with homemade turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing and mayo on a soft roll.

The what is essentially a Thanksgiving leftovers sammie was voted "The Greatest Sandwich in America" by readers across the country in 2018.

Capriotti's Sandwich Shop is currently under construction in the Miner Village shopping center across from the Don Haskins Center in what used to be a Peking Express. It's the first of what will eventually be three El Paso locations.
