The much anticipated musical STOMP has been pushed back and rescheduled for December of this year.

The 2020 Broadway in El Paso season was cut short due to the novel coronavirus, prompting cancellations in the entertainment industry across the board, including touring theatre shows.

The remainder of the Broadway in El Paso 2020 schedule, including Les Les Misérables, Waitress, and STOMP productions, has either been canceled or rescheduled.

Sadly, Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schonberg's musical Les Misérables production canceled altogether while Waitress rescheduled for May of 2022.

Initially scheduled for April of this year, STOMP has been pushed back to December as the pandemic wears on.

Originating on the streets in the UK 20 years ago, STOMP has grown into an internationally acclaimed show with performances in more than 50 countries and front of more than 24 million people.

STOMP is sonically and visually mesmerizing as performers create raw rhythms out of anything. Regular household items and their sounds come to life, such as synchronized stiff-bristle brooms become a sweeping orchestra, Zippo lighters flip open and close, and wooden poles thump and clack. Everything and anything that makes a sound, such as dustbins, tea chests, radiator hoses, boots, and hub caps, are percussion favorites.
