Bonnie Raitt & Marc Cohn To Make Tour Stop In El Paso This Fall
Concert Alert: Bonnie Raitt and Marc Cohn head to El Paso this fall during the 'Just Like That...' tour.
Bonnie Raitt is returning to the stage in support of her upcoming studio album, Just Like That, which will have her share the stage with special guests throughout her tour, including Lucinda Williams, Mavis Staples, and Marc Cohn.
The Just Like That tour will open in Tulsa late this month, featuring Lucinda Williams through the end of June. Mavis Staples will step in halfway into the tour in July, while Marc Cohn will close out the remainder of the dates from September through November.
The 10-time Grammy Award winner and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, whose music career spans over fifty years, has sold over 17 million albums worldwide and has not only been listed as one of the Greatest Singers of All Time" but also as one of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time" by Rolling Stones Magazine.
By the way, Raitt was also the first female musician to receive a signature Fender line which she exclusively uses on tour to date.
Meanwhile, Marc Cohn is best known for his 1991 tune, Walking in Memphis, and the Grammy winner also happens to be one of the luckiest men alive.
In 2005, Cohn was carjacked in Denver and shot in the head, but the bullet missed his eye and lodged in his skull; thankfully, doctors were able to remove it.
After the incident, Cohn went on to release three more albums and last year teamed up with Pete Davidson, Big Wet, and Method Man for an SNL spoof of his signature tune, Walking In Memphis.
Don't miss Bonnie Raitt and Marc Cohn in concert for one night only in El Paso this fall, and get your tickets because this is one concert that will surely sell out quickly.
Tickets will go on sale this Friday, May 13, 2022, at 10 a.m. MST via ticketmaster.com, the Plaza Theatre Box Office, or by phone at 915-231-1100.
