Get ready as Broadway in El Paso continues with the hilarious hit musical, Waitress.

Broadway in El Paso continues in June with Waitress the musical for two nights only at the Plaza Theatre.

Waitress is based on the 2007 motion picture starring Keri Russell written by Adrienne Shelly, from the book by Jessie Nelson, and the musical score was written by Grammy winner Sara Bareilles who has sold over one million albums and over nine million singles including Love Song and Brave.

The musical follows Jenna, a waitress and expert pie-maker who dreams of a way out of her small town as she faces an unhappy marriage, pregnant and a dead-end job. She soon finds a chance at a fresh start when a baking contest in a nearby county — and an encounter with someone new – if she can only find the courage to seize her new opportunity.
