Cesar Alejandro, a board director for the Binational Independent Film Festival, stopped by the KLAQ Morning Show to discuss some of the films that will be shown. This free film festival will be showcasing some films you never knew you needed to see.

Happening April 12th- 19th, you can watch different films and presentations fromfilmmakers, thanks to the Binational Independent Film Festival. The films will be shown at two locations, Premiere Cinemas Montwood 7 and the El Paso Main Library.

Catch films at the El Paso Main Library, Monday thru Thursday starting at 10 a.m. and Friday at 11 a.m. You can head out to Premiere Cinemas Montwood 7 to watch even more films and hear more filmmakers speak about their films beginning at 7 p.m.

Films and documentaries will be featured and we have already started a debate on on documentary called "The Paw Project". Director Jennifer Conrad, documented her push to ban declawing of domestic cats and is going to show her documentary, "The Paw Project" April 15th at the El Paso Main Library.

Other great stories will include "The Man behind the Mask", "The Weapons of Sunrise" and one even about the Pope, "El Papa Francisco". You can check out schedules for the Binational Independent Film Festival at their website and let us know what film you're excited to see.
