Billy Joel Sets New Standard for National Anthem At The World Series [VIDEO]

Billy Joel performed the National Anthem at last night's Game 3 of the World Series in New York City. No grandstanding. No 'I'm more important than the song'. No American Idol-style antics. Just a straightforward performance of our nation's anthem, sung the way it was written, sung with reverence.

I love Whitney Houston's ass-kicking rendition, but I believe this is the new standard.
