The El Paso Museum of Art is accepting applications from local El Paso artists to be featured in the upcoming Fifth Transborder Biennial 2018.

This exhibition will be the world’s only exhibition that focuses on the U.S. and Mexico border.

The El Paso Museum of Art has teamed up with the Museo de Arte de Ciudad Juárez to bring together a simultaneous contemporary dual art exhibition that will bring together artists from both borders in the Transborder Biennial 2018.

This year’s theme will focus on border issues such as immigration, politics, violence, landscape, economics, culture, and various other transborder subjects.

Local artists with 200 miles north and south of the U.S. / Mexican border can apply. Artists can submit their entries online through elpasoartmuseum.org/exhibitions/biennial with the deadline for applications being December 5, 2017.
