Another Case Of El Paso Victim Being Recorded In A Restroom

I will never understand why people think watching someone pee and poop in a public restroom is something they would want on video but El Paso has a lot of cases of that happening. It happened most recently this past weekend in a Golden Corral restroom on the westside. A 10 year old child was in the restroom alone and a disgusting pig allegedly put their camera under the barrier and recorded the child. The child notified their parent but unfortunately the suspect has not been arrested.

NOT THE FIRST TIME
In 2021 David Monastere who has a long record of other run-ins with the law including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, unlawful restraint and assault causing bodily injury was arrested for videotaping women at a nurse's conference. He directed the victims to a restroom in a hotel with a single stall where he had set up a recording device. Thirteen of the women who were victims sued Monastere, the hotel and its owners, and investors for "irreversible trauma" they suffered during the two days that Monastere allegedly recorded them in the restroom.

THAT'S NOT ALL
Remember Irving Jose Marquez? He got caught adjusting a hidden camera in the restroom at Cielo Vista Mall. Irving was sentenced to prison in 2019 after someone found the camera and turned it over to the El Paso Police Department.

Those are the two cases that came up when I searched our website. There are others but you get the gist. There are sickos out there who will target anyone, women, kids, just anyone so they can get their jollies. Be very careful especially with your kids. Thank goodness that weirdo last weekend didn't assault the 10 year old but the trauma of that incident will be hard for them to get past. Be careful out there.
