It's the movie that made Jennifer Lopez a household name.

Alamo Drafthouse will be honoring the life and legacy of beloved Tejano music legend Selena Quintanilla with daily showings of the movie "Selena" this Friday through Sunday, April 19-21. Every screening of the classic movie will include sing-a-longs and themed props.

But the Friday night screening will have a little more Bidi Bidi Bom Bom to it.

Friday, April 19, the Drafthouse lobby and bar area will be "in puro party mode" with the 3rd Annual "Anything for Selenas" Celebration.

The phrase, as any card carrying Latino knows, is a reference to one of the most memorable lines from the 1997 movie.

In the scene leading up to the line, a couple of cholos in a low-rider stop to help Selena and her family pull their tour bus out of a ditch. Their good deed results in the low-low losing its rear bumper, but the owner refuses to let his idol "Salinas" pay for the damage.

"Are you kidding me, man?" he asks incredulously. "This bumper is going to go on the wall of my garage, carnal. I’m going to put a little sign under it, it's gonna say, ‘This bumper was pulled off by the bus of Salinas!’"
