Celebrities. They’re just like us.

Whenever they’re in the mood for good Tex-Mex and they happen to be in El Paso, they get their driver to take them to L & J Café.

Actor Sam Elliott, in town for the premiere of his new movie, hit up the iconic El Paso landmark for dinner Wednesday evening and was cool enough to pose for pics with several of its employees.

The restaurant posted the photos on Facebook with the caption, "Special guest Sam Elliot came by to join us for dinner. It was a pleasure having you here. Enjoy your stay in El Paso!"

No word on what he ordered. Probably something with beef. It's what's for dinner, you know.

He even accommodated patrons like Darlene Luna who were at the right place at the right time. Luna also took to social media to put her Fleeting Meeting with Fame © on display.

Known as much for his magnificent mustache and deep commanding voice as he is for his numerous movie and TV roles, Elliott is in the Sun City for Friday’s U.S. premiere of The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then The Bigfoot at the Plaza Classic Film Festival – the first-ever in the festival’s decade-long history.
