36th Annual Toys for Kids Motorcycle Parade This Weekend in Las Cruces
Motorcyclists gather and each bring toys for the kids in need in the Las Cruces community through a huge annual parade that runs through the city. Motorcyclists will gather and register at the southwest corner of Mesilla Valley Mall from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. and the police escorted parade will leave the mall at noon sharp. Motorcyclists must be street legal, registered and insured.
Following the parade head out to the Las Cruces Convention Center where they will have live music from Blaze the Nation, a meal, beverages, grand prize drawing from Las Cruces Motorsports, 50/50 raffle, raffle for leather jackets donated by Barnett's Harley Davidson, door prizes, many vendors and more. This year the bike show will feature a trophy and cash prize for each class!
If you don't ride a motorcycle, please join them at the Convention Center! They are asking non-motorcycle riders to park at NMSU, Pioneer Bank or on the northwest corner of El Paseo and University for the safety of the bikers so they can park at the Convention Center.
A donation of $10 plus new toy valued at $7 or more per person gets you a meal and two beverages, plus the chance to win the grand prize of a $500 gift card to Las Cruces Motorsports or one of many door prizes. If you don't bring a toy, you will be asked to contribute toward the purchase of a toy. See you at the parade and check out the website for more info.
