3 Huge Texas Artists Coming To The Abraham Chavez Theater
El Paso continues to add more concerts onto the "Q Calendar" for 2023. This year we will see two of the biggest breakout rock artists from the state of Texas: Stephenville's Giovannie & the Hired Guns & Palestine's southern rock band Whiskey Myers. Both opening up for the Los Lonely Boys. All 3 bands will be arriving to El Paso in March.
As we know, last year G&THG were just a small independent artist before signing onto Warner Music last year. Ever since then, they have been gaining a lot of traction across the US. And Whiskey Myers has been making waves since 2016 with the famed guitarist Christ Stapleton in the band.
On Gio & the Hired Gun's official website, they have a dozen Texas dates in January, February, March & April. They've included a mix of big & small Texas cities including San Angelo, Houston, McKinney, San Antonio, etc.
When the month of March rolls around, Los Lonely Boys & Giovannie will do a string of 3 shows with the southern rock group Whiskey Myers:
- March 16th in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the Revel Entertainment Center
- March 17th in Phoenix, Arizona at the Arizona Financial Theatre
- and March 18th at El Paso's Abraham Chavez Theater.
In the case of Whiskey Myers, not only have we seen them play in El Paso before (they've played here twice nearly 10 years ago BEFORE they got big), but they came back to record their latest album Tornillo at the famous Sonic Ranch Studios.
This will be the first time that Gio & the Guns will arrive to El Paso so they're hoping to make a great first impression. Meanwhile this will be the first time, in a while, that Los Lonely Boys will be in El Paso. But they certainly have played at least twice.
