2011 Balloon Fest Launch Photos [PHOTOS/LINK]

BALLON FEST 2011: For those of you that didn't have the time or desire to wake up at the crack of dawn to watch the hot air balloons launch from the Santa Teresa Country Club, we have the next best thing: pictures! And lots of them. Our own web guy, Johnnie Walker, sacrificed some of his beauty sleep so he could share the adventure with this gallery of photos.

Although the winds kept all but five balloons grounded at Saturday's launch, KDBC reports most everyone they spoke with were OK with the balloons staying close to the ground. One Upper Valley neighborhood even woke up to find one of the five that did take off had landed in the middle of their street after running out of fuel. KTSM.com has a picture and the details.
