Mike’s the Stupid News: Hold Up Ends When Robber’s Mom Drags Him Out of Store [VIDEO]

Tuesday morning, 22-year-old Roy Mitchell of Flowood, Mississippi was out with his mom and pulled into a convenience store in Brandon, Mississippi.

He told his mom he was going inside to buy a bag of chips, but what he really had in mind was holding the place up. Mitchell pulled a gun on the clerk and demanded the money from the cash register.

Unfortunately for Roy, his mom was NOT having it. She walked up to the counter, yelled at her son, grabbed the gun from out of his hand, told the clerk it was fake and asked her not to call the cops, then led Roy out of the store.

Mitchell was arrested later and charged with attempted armed robbery.  But I’m pretty sure the embarrassment of the surveillance video below going viral is a much worse punishment.
