LET'S DRINK AND BE MERRY HERE IN THE GREAT STATE OF TEXAS
If you’re in Kentucky, you drink bourbon, if you’re in Tennessee, might have a nice glass of Jack Daniels with Coke, but here, in the great state of Texas, according to Texas Monthly, happiness can be found with not a not too cheap and not too expensive, tequila, fresh lime, and Cointreau mixed at a 1.5 to 1.5 ratio shaken with ice and served in a chilled glass with a salted rim.
WHAT IS TEXAS FAVORITE DRINK?
You've guessed it ladies and gentlemen if you’re in Texas, you must have a classic refreshing margarita. Even though the classic margarita was not actually made in the great state, we treat this yummy drink like our own. The classic margarita actually was invented at a bar in Juarez Mexico in 1942 in a place called Tommy’s Place. Texas has adopted this cool refreshing drink as its own and were not playing any "takebacks". I don’t care if you take your classic margarita frozen on the rocks, a Texas margarita is always a good idea.
