You Can Get To ‘Sesame Street’ By Going To HBO

Can I tell you how to get, how to get to Sesame Street? You have to have HBO because the five seasons will be shown on HBO. Sesame Workshop and HBO created a new partnership that will produce 35 episodes a year. Usually, they filmed 18 a season. But don't worry if you don't have HBO. After running on HBO for nine months, they will be shown for free on PBS.

Sesame Workshop says by partnering with HBO, they got the "critical funding it needs to be able to continue production of Sesame Street and secure its nonprofit mission of helping kids grow smarter, stronger and kinder.” HBO will also air a spin-off series based on the Sesame Street Muppets.

The new episodes are scheduled to air as early as this fall.
