YISD to Provide All Students Free Lunch at 32 Campuses This School Year
Thirty two campuses in the Ysleta Independent School District will provide all students free meals for the entire for the 2017-18 school year regardless of family income.
The district is taking part in the Community Eligibility Program, which allows schools in high-poverty areas to offer free meals to all children without the need to fill out the required paperwork or show proof of income.
According to a district news release, if your child attends a campus that did not qualify for the CEP program, its regular policy for providing free and reduced-price lunch meals for children whose families fall under federal income eligibility guidelines is still an option. The meal application is available online HERE.
The 32 campuses where YISD students will automatically receive free lunch throughout the entire 2017-2018 school year are listed below.
All students at YISD receive free breakfast regardless of family income or whether the school is taking part in the Community Eligibility Program or not.
