I love the 80s. I love the music, of course, I absolutely loved the clothes, and I really, really love the movies. And a movie about desecrating a corpse? Well, I am there!

That is the premise of 'Weekend At Bernie's', this weekend's free movie at the International Museum of Art. A couple of young salesmen find out that their boss, Bernie, is committing fraud and wants them dead. Bernie invites the two, played by Jonathan Silverman and Andrew McCarthy, to his super amazing beach house so he can have them offed. The hijinks ensue when Bernie ends up being the one dead and Silverman and McCarthy decide to have a little weekend fun. They come up with all kinds of ways to keep Bernie's death from his guests and, yes, this is just the kind of movie that was made in the 80s.

It really is fun, but I guarantee that if you thought it was hilarious the first time around, you will cringe a little at what you used to find hilarious.

The movie is free and the Museum has fantastically priced concessions so you can take someone with you so you won't sit there screaming alone and probably only spend about $20 for the whole afternoon. Make sure you check out the rest of the museum after the movie. It's gorgeous and will take your breath away.
