There is nothing better than getting out of town for a quick weekend trip. If you don't have time to take a whole weekend off, jump onto Highway 28 and head up to Las Cruces for a fun day trip. There are a number of wineries along the way if you want to make it an adult trip, or you can head up to Old Mesilla and show the kiddos some local history.
