Watch Segment Featuring El Paso Landmark Lucy’s Restaurant on ‘The Texas Bucket List’
The Texas Bucket List recently featured longtime west side fav Lucy’s Restaurant on the weekly syndicated television show’s current season. If you missed it, no worries, I got you. The entire segment is posted below.
For the episode’s Bite of the Week feature, host Shane McAuliffe dropped by the N. Mesa location and was treated to their two most popular dishes: Lucy’s Famous Machaca Plate and the Tacos Antonia.
First up was the machaca. The shredded beef with tomatoes, onion, and egg smothered with their own chile con queso has been an El Paso favorite for about as long as the restaurant has been open.
Once I got a bite of the Machaca, it was easy to see what everyone is so excited about in El Paso. The flavor is amazing.
McAuliffe was equally enamored with the Tacos Antonia, declaring them some of the best tacos in Texas.
