Only a handful of Mexican artists have defined and influenced our Mexican culture, such as Pedro Infante, Javier Solis, Juan Gabriel, including Vicente Fernández.

For decades Vicente Fernández has inspired and moved fans with songs like El Rey, De Qué Manera Te Olvido, Volver Volver, and Por Tu Maldito Amor (produced by Selena's older brother, A.B. Quintanilla - the King of Kumbias).

However, due to his deteriorating health, El Ídolo de México (The Idol of Mexico) retired from performing live in 2016 but continued writing and recording music as of late.

The three-time Grammy winner has sold over 50 million copies worldwide throughout his career, making him one of the best-selling regional Mexican artists of all time and one of Mexico's most beloved artists.
