Alright Juarez, serious question: What the heck is going on over there?! First a tiger was found in a Juárez neighborhood last week and now there’s a monkey on the loose?!

Just days after animal protection officials seized a literal tiger that was being kept in a backyard with no water and a dirt floor, Juarez officials captured a spider monkey that was running around the break room of an office building!

Juárez, MX has officially gone full jungle

KVIA shared a video that was shared originally from news partners at Canal 44 and in the video you can see an animal control officer chasing the monkey like it’s trying to run away from HR!

According to KVIA, Mexico’s Attorney General for Environmental Protection (PROFEPA) says this species of monkey is endangered and that it’s totally illegal to commercialize them in Mexico. Translation: someone’s out here running an illegal petting zoo, and we have questions. Like, a lot of questions!!

Between the tiger and now this monkey, It feels like Juárez is setting the stage for a live-action Jungle Book meets The Office!

There is still no word on how or why these wild animals were just hanging out in these random locations in Juarez, but I am honestly nervous to find out what kind if animal will be hanging out in the streets of Juarez next!
