UTEP Offering Summer Camps for Kids
UTEP’s Summer Camps is a perfect way to keep your child active and learning in a fun environment all summer long.
There are four camps being offered at the Centennial Museum and Chihuahuan Desert Gardens for students in grades 4-6th.
Admission: Each camp is $50 for early enrollment and $55 after the early registration deadline. Costs cover all camp supplies, daily snacks and a Friday Pizza Party. ($10/hour for before/after care) Space is limited to the first 20 children for each camp.
All camps will take place Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Centennial Museum and Chihuahuan Desert Gardens on the UTEP campus.

CAMPS:
Dragons & Dinosaurs
- June 20-23, 2017
- 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
- Campers will explore dinosaurs and dragons - participants will create their own dragons and dinosaurs, complete with stories and computer-generated visuals.
Monsters & Robots
- June 27-30, 2017
- 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
- This camp will allow participants to explore the world of robots by creating a biography for a fictional robot, complete with a storyboard. Then, campers will be able to make a monster movie and get a monster "makeover."
Mad Scientist
- July 11-14, 2017
- 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
- This will be a hand’s on class that will have campers visit with Mad Scientists and conduct experiments. Participants will also get to tour the UTEP Laboratory of Environmental Biology.
