Six ESPN+ games, two streaming on Stadium and a pair on CBS Sports Network is the breakdown for the UTEP football television schedule in 2022, as Conference USA announced all start times and TV details for its members on Thursday.

In addition, there will be four home games with a 7 p.m. start time and two kicking off at 2 p.m.

The Miners, fresh off a seven-win season that led to a bowl appearance in 2021, will begin the season in week zero as they host North Texas on Saturday, Aug. 27. Following their rare early-season C-USA game, they will travel to Norman and face Oklahoma on Saturday, Sept. 3. The kickoff could be in the midst of brutal heat, as the start time is set for 1:30 p.m. and televised on Fox.

UTEP wraps up non-conference play against NM State (Sept. 10) and Boise State (Sept. 23) at home, along with a road game against New Mexico (Sept. 17). While the Friday night game against the Broncos will be televised on CBS Sports Network, no television details have been released for the game against the Lobos.

C-USA play starts on Oct. 1 when the Miners travel to Charlotte (4 p.m.) and LA Tech on Oct. 8 (5 p.m.) through consecutive weeks. FAU and MTSU will travel to the Sun Bowl in back-to-back weeks starting on Oct. 22. On a rare Thursday night kickoff (Nov. 3), the Miners will face Rice on CBS Sports Network (5 p.m.). Then, they will wrap up their home schedule with an afternoon game against FIU (2 p.m.).  The only game without a time is their matchup against UTSA on Nov. 26.
