Thunberg’s UN Climate Action Summit Speech Calls Out Politicians

Climate change is an important discussion that needs to be had in our world. On Monday, the United Nations held the 74th session of the UN General Assembly, which featured a Climate Action Summit. On the panel of participants for this event, climate activist Greta Thunberg shared her thoughts on what the future will become if we do not make a change to the way we live. At age sixteen, Greta is a Swedish activist who is calling out the General Assembly for ignoring the science behind climate change.

Her activism has brought her to the US Congress where she submitted a special report to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and is now calling out lawmakers in front of the world. Her passion can not be ignored. Future generations are standing up for what they believe will be the best way to preserve our Earth, as we continue to destroy it, according to science and Greta.
