For almost a week, two New Mexico State University students have been burning up local social media pages after they disappeared from a rap concert in El Paso.

18-year-old McKinnah Sinclair and 19-year-old Charlie Daniels were pulled over by police in Idaho on Thursday morning when they were seen driving about 30 miles per hour below the posted speed limit. When they were stopped, police discovered that the vehicle belonged to Daniel's parents, and the license plate that was on the vehicle belonged to a different vehicle. Police say Sinclair and Daniels changed the plates on purpose before they took off on their road trip.

Daniels and Sinclair's families have made arrangements to bring them back to New Mexico.

Sinclair and Daniels were reported missing on Tuesday morning because they never returned from the Rare concert on Friday in El Paso. Their photos from the concert made a huge splash on social media pages in El Paso and Las Cruces. Their phones were apparently turned off, and Idaho police say they were aware that people were looking for them, but they didn't check in with their families because they didn't want anyone to know where they were.
