Would El Paso baseball be El Paso baseball without Jim Paul? The former owner of the El Paso Diablos revolutionized minor league baseball, and even impressed the National Geographic to the point that they put the Diablos on the cover of their magazine. It's safe to say Jim Paul is El Paso baseball, and now, he's in the running for a hall of fame berth.

Ok, it's not THE Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. It's the Baseball Reliquary's Shrine of The Eternals. The Baseball Reliquary is less concerned about cold, hard statistics than it is honoring American art and culture through baseball history. Ted Giannoulas, who is the man inside the Chicken, and who was inducted into the Reliquary in costume in 2011, nominated Paul for induction into this year's Shrine of the Eternals.

You can help get Jim Paul into the Reliquary - details available here.
