The Olympics End Sunday – Here’s A Hilarious Routine From 2001 To Remind You How Silly Ice Dancing Can Be

The Winter Olympics are about to end on Sunday night and I am honestly really sad to see them go. Yup. I'm a big Olympics nerd. I love to watch pretty much all the events, even curling. Hell, especially the curling! One of my least favorites is the men's ice skating competition. I don't know why, but I just can't get into it. I love all the other ice skating and dancing competitions, but the men's just doesn't do anything for me. I'll watch it, but it's not my fave.

After the ice skating competitions are finished, there is an ice skating gala that showcases the competitors in a performance that is just them skating without having to worry about hitting certain jumps and tricks. It's a lot of fun to watch because you really get a sense of the skater without the constraints of Olympic scoring.

A couple of years back, there was a skater who really knocked it out of the park. His name is Evgeni Plushenko, and his Sex Bomb routine from 2001 is probably the funniest, silliest, and most surprising ice dance ever filmed!
