The How To’s in Protecting Those Lips From BAD Gloss

So remember when you were a kid and the neighbor kid held up a magnifying glass and sizzle up the ants?  That is what you are doing to those SMACKERS when you wear gloss without SPF.  Yucky, I know.

You've heard Dermatologist on the TV talk about those warnings that shiny glow may raise up the chance for cancer, since shine brings more UV rays to penetrate through the skin instead of bouncing off the skin's surface.  Since here in the southwest we HAVE TONS of SUN, skin cancer on lips is REAL business: an estimated 3,500 new cases are diagnosed every year according to the Skin Cancer Foundation.  That being SAID, if you are going to wear SHINY gloss with a base layer of at LEAST SPF 30, your are protected!!!
