DO NOT EAT KELLOGG'S HONEY SMACKS CEREAL.

If you love you some Kellogg's Honey Smacks cereal, you might want to put down your spoon. The Centers For Disease Control says you need to not only not buy any new boxes of Honey Smacks cereal, you should throw away any boxes you have in your home.

The cereal has been tainted with salmonella and the CDC released a pretty blunt warning on Twitter. They said "Do not eat this cereal." Kellogg's Honey Smacks cereal had been voluntarily recalled last month, but the FDA says there are still boxes on grocery store shelves and in kitchen cupboards.

When the recall notice on the cereal was first put out, there were dates and sizes that were specific to the recall, but now officials say don't bother checking dates or sizes, just don't buy or eat any Kellogg’s Honey Smacks Cereal.

Salmonella causes symptoms like include diarrhea, fever, and abdominal cramps, and I'm sorry, but no cereal is worth that.
