Show of Hands: Who was a victim of Netflix’s constant buffering during this past Fridays Tyson vs. Paul fight?! YOU ARE NOT ALONE, TEXAS!

What was supposed to be one of the most anticipated boxing matches of all time turned into a frustrating evening for fans… my boyfriend being one of them! However, the frustration wasn’t really because of the fight itself, it was because Netflix couldn’t keep up. (Even though they swore they were ready for it!)

You Had One Job, Netflix!

The match between 58-year-old Mike Tyson and 27-year-old Jake Paul was a highly anticipated event, but the frustration began even BEFORE Mike and Jake got into the ring!

Social media erupted with hashtags like #NetflixBroken and #BufferingBlues as users vented about constant freezing and stream interruptions. Many viewers couldn’t watch the fight until hours after it ended, leaving 60 million people feeling more KO’d than entertained.

I even shared my frustration online and it felt good knowing i wasn’t alone:

Netflix, I hope you learned your lesson

I would have thought Netflix would have learned their lesson after the highly anticipated “Live” reunion special for season 4 CRASHED and didn’t even air live because too many people tuned it, but apparently Netflix did not learn their lesson.

With Netflix planning to stream two football games on Christmas, fans are already crossing their fingers that this time, the only thing we’ll see freeze is the winter weather—not the screen.
