Take A Look At The Restored Trolleys [VIDEO]

I got the chance to see the newly restored streetcars up close and personal on Thursday morning. They are gorgeous! They are the best of Art Deco design and they look like something out of a 1930s movie.

What struck me the most was the size of the trolleys. They are massive and really impressive. A crowd of at least 100 showed up to see the trolleys on the rails in downtown El Paso and judging from all the oohs and ahhhs that I heard, they were happy with the outcome of the months of intensive restoration the trolleys have undergone.

It will probably be late this year when the trolleys begin taking passengers and after seeing them up close, I can't wait to take a ride!
