Balloonfest 2015 is just around the corner and we are gearing up for the fun! Ever wonder what it's like to ride in a hot air balloon? Here's a look closer into what it's like flying over El Paso.

KLAQ will be kicking off the 2014 Balloonfest with a Balloon Glow, set for Friday, May 23. This is the night many of the balloons participating in our Balloonfest will light up their burners and glow in the night sky while hovering just over the ground. It's a site to see. This year, the Balloon Glow will also feature a fireworks display and music.

Yeah, Balloonfest was awesome. If you missed Aranda, you have got to see this!

This has always been on my bucketlist! And now it is a check mark! So much fun and an unforgettable experience!

I set my alarm for 4:30 a.m. this past Saturday morning so I can make it out for the first day of this years Balloonfest.  While I'll admit to spending the first 30 minutes of my day getting reacquainted with every curse word I know, my mood quickly changed once I made it out to the TFCU launch field.  You still have one more morning to make it out the launch.  You won't regret it!

I love this time of year! Especially for the great events...Balloonfest this weekend and then at the end of June it's Street Fest! I'm personally excited to see Halestorm in concert on Monday!
