Love Me Tender

The popularity of chicken joints continues to grow in the Sun City.

Between the homegrown Boss Tenders, Dogs & Custards, national chain Raising Cane’s, and just about every major fast-food chicken and burger chain from Popeyes to KFC to Dairy Queen, the chicken finger competition is fierce.

Slim Chickens' expansion to El Paso comes days after River Oaks Properties confirmed Dave's Hot Chicken, another popular chicken chain, was moving in. Dave's Hot Chicken is known for its huge, spicy take on tenders.
