There's nothing worse than running out of your favorite cosmetic. You're standing there getting ready for work and you realize that your fave bronzer is nothing but an empty pan, or your favorite brush gives up the ghost and all its bristles. Yup, it's time to head out to get some replacements. But today, you won't be able to go to Sephora for your cosmetic of choice. They're closed all day today.

Sephora announced that it was going to close all 400 of its U.S. stores last month for an hour-long diversity training session for its employees. The announcement happened after SZA, a female rap artist blasted Sephora for allegedly racially profiling her at their Calabasas, California location.

SZA tweeted, "Lmao Sandy Sephora location 614 Calabasas called security to make sure I wasn’t stealing. We had a long talk. U have a blessed day Sandy." Sephora responded to SZA that she had worked at a Sephora location before she hit it big and it didn't mesh with her story of being racially profiled.

The company says that their company-wide diversity training is not in reaction to the incident with SZA, but just part of its "We Belong to Something Beautiful" campaign, which was announced on the same day as the inclusion workshops.
