It's official, the 2019 Plaza Classic Film Festival will celebrate El Pasoans love of outdoor movies again this summer. The series known as "Plaza Outdoor" will return August 2.

Each Friday and Saturday during the festival's almost two-week run, a movie will be shown alfresco at the intersection of Mills and Oregon Street, just down the street from the Plaza Theatre. A performance by a local band will precede each screening.

This year's selections includes Grease and Dirty Dancing. Of course, all would not be right with the world if the cult classic and EP favorite, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, wasn't on the schedule as well. The good doctor and the rest of the ghoulish crew return to the Plaza Classic Film Festival for the 11th straight year on Saturday, August 3.

The flicks will all start at 9 p.m. with the concerts getting underway at 7:30 p.m. Both the movies and the bands are free to see.
