Ruth’s Chris Steak House to Open El Paso Location in August

A high-end restaurant is weeks away from serving its signature sizzling steaks in the Sun City.

Ruth’s Chris Steak House is set to open its first El Paso location next month at the Fountains at Farah according to the shopping mall's website.

The elegant multi-level restaurant will offer El Pasoans its take on timeless American Steakhouse favorites and the same award-winning wine list it offers globally, as well as its famous Sizzle, Swizzle and Swirl Happy Hour, and patio seating with views of El Paso and Juarez.

Regarded by many as some of the tastiest around, the steaks don't come cheap. While prices vary by location, an 8-ounce fillet generally start at around $38. If a rib-eye or a T-bone is more to your liking, expect to shell out around $48 for a 16. oz Rib-eye, and $53 for a 24 oz. T-bone.

Ruth's Chris is located on the upper level promenade, near the West Elm home furnishings store.

While an exact opening date has not been announced, those in the know expect it to be in mid to late August.
