It was 2010 when the Roca Fitness opened its doors in the old EP Fitness building.  It was considered 1/3 nightclub, 1/3 fitness center, and 1/3 music venue.  I remember the appeal was considered "SEXY"  originally.  Pole dancing classes were HUGE as were Hip Hop workout videos were GIGANTIC, so I saw this place blazing music, the strobe lights were zooming, the graffiti design, the art on the wall plastered with Freddy Mercury, ACDC, MADONNA, and a DJ booth, cool tanning booths,  it was dark  which gave it that COOL card.   Planet Fitness was just making its debut in the 915.  It was and still is owned by EP Fitness had hit the mark with this wild place.

Now forgive me, but I believe there were 3 Roca's in the 915, Dyer closed it's doors some time ago, so then last night i read this...

I asked the gentleman in the front desk, "...are both Roca's closing?" and his respone, "No, just the Montwood location, the Americas one will remain open."

So, be ready to say "BYEEeeeeeee" to your Roca at Montwood July 31, Wednesday, I will be out there for my finale workout at this location, a little wiser, a lot older, a lot more white hair, married, and ready to see what 2019 brings for us all, oh yeah, and a LOT of memories...!!!!
