Due to the recent thunderstorms that rolled through the area, The City of El Paso Parks and Recreation Department postponed Art in the Park which was scheduled for the weekend of Sept. 30.

The amount of rainfall we received resulted in grounds so saturated that Parks & Rec felt it was a safety hazard for shoppers and vendors alike.

But do not fear lovers of all things artsy and crafty because the autumn edition of one of the city’s oldest arts and crafts fairs has been rescheduled for Saturday, November 11, and Sunday, November 12.

If you like handmade jewelry and leather goods, and homemade soaps and jams then you'll want to save the new date that you can do some shopping, strolling and socializing in the park.

Art in the Park will take place at Memorial Park on Copper Street, and feature local arts and crafts vendors selling their wares, activities for children, and continuous entertainment. Admission is free.
